Zootopia 2 is a "must-watch" for families and fans of the original. While it may not feel as "fresh" as the 2016 film, it compensates with top-tier animation and a very entertaining Hindi dub. It’s funny, fast-paced, and has a lot of heart. Rating: ⭐⭐⭐.5 / 5

1. The Hindi Dubbing (Star Power)
The biggest highlight for the Indian audience is Shraddha Kapoor voicing Judy Hopps. She brings a fresh, high-energy "enthu-cutlet" vibe to the character that fits Judy’s bubbly but determined personality perfectly. The Hindi dialogues are well-adapted, filled with local puns and humor that make the animal-centric jokes land well for Indian families.
2. Visuals and World Building
Disney has outdone itself with the animation. The Marsh Market is a visual treat—dark, swampy, and filled with creative water-based transportation (like the "water tubes"). The film expands the Zootopia universe by introducing reptiles for the first time, which adds a new layer to the city's social dynamics.
3. Story and Themes
While the first movie was about prejudice, Zootopia 2 focuses on erasure and historical truth. It explores the idea of "hidden" communities and the importance of looking past labels. However, some critics feel the plot is a bit "chaotic" because it tries to balance too many things: the mystery, the social commentary, and the personal drama between Nick and Judy.
| Pros | Cons |
| Shraddha Kapoor’s excellent Hindi voice-over. | The plot feels a bit overstuffed compared to the first part. |
| Stunning new locations and character designs. | Some "animal puns" feel a bit repetitive. |
| Emotional depth in Nick and Judy's friendship. | The villain (Pawbert) is not as memorable as Bellwether. |
